AIDEN WAS BORN WITH SHONES COMPLEX/HLHS. (HALF OF HIS HEART WAS UNDERDEVELOPED) HE HAS HAD 2 OF THE 3 STAGE OPEN HEART SURGERIES THAT HE NEEDS. HIS LIFE EXPECTANCY IS UNKNOWN & ONE DAY HE MAY NEED A HEART TRANSPLANT. ALTHOUGH AIDEN HAS A BIG ROAD AHEAD OF HIM, HE IS DOING EXTRAORDINARILY WELL. WE ARE SO BLESSED & GRATEFUL TO HAVE HIM HERE WITH US.

Look at me go!

Aiden has been pulling himself up on things to a stand like crazy! Today while playing with his basket of toys he managed to pull himself up in front of the TV. Normally he stands holding on to his basket. He has been attempting the TV stand for a couple of weeks now and today he mastered it. I tried to get a picture of it and was not successful but here is a picure of a normal day of play for him.
My camera broke recently, so please temporarily excuse the quality of the pictures I post.

On a medical note:
Aiden had an appointment with his Cardiologist, Dr. Cocalis, about a week and a half ago. It went really well. Dr Cocalis says that things look good and that there are no concerns. He says he doesn't need to see him for 6 months! I can't believe it. I remember after Aiden's first surgery, at one point, he saw Dr Cocalis twice a week. Then it went to once a week, then bi-weekly to 3-4 weeks apart until his second surgery. We are blessed to finally get to this point.
